Thanks Stampin' Royalty for introducing me to blog challenges! I have finally made a card (albeit a digital one - I hope that's allowed!) for the Mojo Monday challenge!
I feel like doing this challenge has really helped me expand my My Digital Studio experience...so thank you Mojo Monday!
It's still not as perfect as I would like - I am still trying to figure out to do nice perfect layering. If you have any tips, please let me know!

Well, I thought that since it's been awhile since I last showed you a project using the fabulous My Digital Studio - I made a 6x6 card for your viewing pleasure!

Well, I have to say that these are three colours that I have never tried to put together before!
I made this card because of this week's Stampin' Royalty challenge:
Ingredients for this card are:
Cardstock: the three colours (Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, Elegant Eggplant) plus a little Whisper White
Stamp Set: Vintage Vogue (Love it!), En Français (you can barely see it, but if you click on the picture you can see it's in the background)
Accessories & Tools: texture plate (backgrounds 1), neutral brads (5/16"), Rich Razzleberry ribbon, eyelet border punch

I used two of the new stamp sets from the Occasions Mini Catalogue. I absolutely LOVE them! I got the new style just introduced by Stampin' Up! using the clear acrylic blocks!!! If you haven't already - check out the new Occasions Mini catalogue and the free goodies you can earn from the Sale-a-bration catalogue (see the right sidebar) - I guarantee you will love them!
Ingredients for this card:
Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White
Stamp Sets: Well Scripted, Vintage Vogue
Accessories: Rhinestone brads (clear and fire circles), Rich Razzleberry polka-dot ribbon, Finial Press embossing folder

This die is absolutely GORGEOUS! I have a feeling that this die is going to help me make lots of quick and classy cards!
Here are two cards that I whipped up super quickly...and I only had to put one piece of Crushed Curry cardstock through my Big Shot!
So in case you were wondering what I meant by only one piece of Crushed Curry (the yellow cardstock) I used the pieces that were cut out to make the first card, and the image that was left when I removed the cut pieces (i.e. one is negative and the other is positive!) Love it!

Amazing isn't it!?! It's strange how this year has been talked about for so long. I guess that's what happens when your city is having the Olympics and it's been known for quite some time. So it's more of a...it's finally 2010! Regardless of the Olympic insanity, I am really looking forward to a year with new adventures and experiences. I hope you are too!
Well, enough chatter from me. Here's the ladybug card I mentioned in my previous post. As per my niece's request, she will be getting this card for her birthday! I hope she likes the antennae! :)

I realized that I never posted pictures of the gifts that I gave my nephew and niece!
As you can see, I got them each a party kit! I figured it would be a fun and creative present that they would both enjoy - who wouldn't love becoming princesses and pirates!?!
I have also received requests from them to make a ladybug card and a bicycle card for their birthdays!!! hahahaha I love those kids! Luckily I already have inspiration for the ladybug card and I will share it with you as soon as I have it done!
I made these awesome little scallop bags to put my sisters gifts in and added the simple but classy ornament (*be sure to get yours before it's too late! This punch and stamp set are available only for a few more days!*). My niece kept hoping that one of them was for her!
